Done annually, the Best Cebu Blogs Awards (BCBA) is an awarding body that recognizes Cebu-based bloggers, influencers, and content creators alike. BCBA is organized and administered by Blogger Volunteers of the Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS) Founder Mark M. Monta. The jury for the Best Cebu Blogs Awards usually comes from Manila, Cagayan De Oro, Iloilo, General Santos, Davao, and, of course, from Cebu.

JP Abecilla had known BCBA when he became a member of CBS in 2018. As a fellow of CBS, JP was nominated the following year (2019) for the Best Cebu Events Blog.
