JPAbecillaPH.com Named 2026 Best Cebu Personal Blog Finalist
Another milestone for JPAbecillaPH.com – The Millennial Writer.
I’m grateful to share that the blog has once again been named a Best Cebu Personal Blog Finalist at the 2026 Best Cebu Blogs Awards (BCBA). This year, I am one of five finalists in the category, alongside The Visual Traveler, The Minkay Life, For Every Mommy, and The Aldrin Core.
The recognition means a lot because this is not my first time in the same category. I was also a Best Cebu Personal Blog Finalist in 2023. We didn’t make it then, so hopefully, this time, we can bring it home.
Another Recognition on Top of the Journey
This year’s finalist spot adds to a growing list of recognitions for the blog.
Over the years, JPAbecillaPH.com has been recognized through the Best Cebu Blogs Awards, the Globe Media Excellence Awards, and most recently by Media Meter Inc., which included the site among the Top Philippine Lifestyle Websites.
These recognitions reflect how the blog has evolved from a personal writing platform into a space that covers a wide range of topics, from Cebu, Filipino culture, politics and society to marketing, work, money, travel, and everyday life.
I have always believed that blogging should be more than simply publishing content.
A good blog should make people think.
It should start conversations.
It should document ideas that might otherwise disappear in a fast-moving social media feed.
And most importantly, it should still sound like the person behind it.
BCBA 2026
The 19th Best Cebu Blogs Awards Gala Night will be held on November 23, 2026 at bai Hotel Cebu. BCBA describes this year’s finalists as part of Cebu’s continuing digital storytelling and creator community.
Being included again in the Best Cebu Personal Blog category is already something I’m proud of.
But of course, after missing it in 2023, I’d also love to finally win it this year. 😅
If you’ve been reading, sharing, commenting, and following my work through the years, I’d appreciate your support.
